Geothermal Drilling Services
MEG has been providing drilling services to the northeast for over 30 years. Our experienced staff of drillers and geologists can assist HVAC companies, architecture/engineering firms, general contractors and home owners to determine the geologic conditions and geothermal installation methods to best suit required heating and cooling needs. We have installed loop fields and supply/injection wells for all applications, ranging from small residential homes to large commercial structures.
MEG has a versatile drilling fleet to cover a variety of needs, from small track mounted units to large truck carrier rigs. Drilling methodologies include: hollow stem auger, air and mud rotary as well as direct push applications. MEG also has a large marine fleet for a variety of pond and lake loop installations.

Thermal Conductivity Testing
MEG provides thermal conductivity testing for closed loop design requirements. MEG follows all ASHRAE guidelines for this procedure. We have skilled field technicians and environmental scientists which conduct these services. In addition, with a large geologic data base from previous drilling projects, we can provide you with accurate depth to groundwater information and soil classification.
LEED Site Sustainability Services
MEG provides a variety of environmental construction services for LEED building applications. Many Brownfield's sites are now being utilized for this purpose. Remediation of these sites has become the first priority. From dewatering and onsite treatment, to excavation and disposal of contaminated material, MEG, can assist developers and general contractors with these requirements. We have a proven track record of bringing sites to federal and state clean up guidelines.
